- 1 1/2 cups (3/4 lb.) suet (from beef kidney)
- 3 cups flour (unsifted)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup currants
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup apples, chopped
- 1 cup nuts
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- Boil 3-4 hours
