English Pudding

  • 1 1/2 cups (3/4 lb.) suet (from beef kidney)
  • 3 cups flour (unsifted)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup currants
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup apples, chopped
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  1. Boil 3-4 hours
