Pound Cake (1-2-3-4)

  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 eggs, well beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 4 cups sifted flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  1. Cream butter and sugar
  2. Add eggs and salt.
  3. Add flour and milk alternately.
  4. Lastly, add the baking powder with a little flour and the vanilla.
  5. Bake ina solid pan or pan with stem almost an hour
